What a great article. I have had the pleasure of anchoring off Pitcairn on two occasions and met the locals who have come aboard in their longboat to sell their wares including first day covers. A descendant of the Young who was one of the mutineers still lives on the island and he and I communicated after these visits and he was able to send me Cunard related items such as the issue of 1991 and 2001 showing Sagafjord as well as the issues of 1985, 1996 and 2003 showing ships of the Associated container Transportation which were then part of the Cunard cargo fleestewart
