I was sorry to read your message, but of course fully undertand the reasons for it – you have been a stalwart of the SSS for as long as I can remember, as was Tommy before you, and you have gone way beyond any reasonable call of duty. In fact, I find myself quite ashamed that I have simply enjoyed all of the lovely work you and your faithful contributors have done over those years, without lifting much of a finger to help. As the years pass, I get less inclined to take on more responsibilities and I would guess that applies to many of our ship stamp enthusiasts, so that might provide me with some sort of excuse.
In any case, thanks a million for all your really excellent work which, once lost, will be more fully appreciated (and missed).
